Well, here's a model i'm working on at the moment, El_Goorf sent me a crude outline of the model, I basically remodeled the whole thing until I liked the look of it (He's great at inaminate objects, but never let him do anything organic ). I've also made an LOD version as he's for use ingame. I can't really get any good renders as I'm having trouble with resetting the normals in anim8or.

High Quality: 772 polys, 536 verts
LOD: 518 pollys, 335 Verts

Edit: BLLLARG, just realised I uploaded the uncropped version .

Prety nice. It's hard to see much from the pics but with a good texture it could be pretty good.

Very nice. I want to see this textured. I could definitly see this in an RPG, or maybe even an RTS. You could probebly save some more polygons by filling in the sleeves.

Jonny Ree: I agree, his proportions are out, simply because I did this all by eye and haven't checked with a reference image yet. <jrowe google's Da Vinci's perfect man...>

Mikey: You're probably right. I can porobly shave some more off his upper body and head too, without much quality loss too.

After shaving some more of the polys, I'll start UV mapping. I also need to sort out the high p[oly eyes, they don't look right.

Edit: low poly version now 442 polys, 267 verts, Picture attached.

Bit of an update. I've started UV Mapping/Texturing. Here's the face so far. He has no eyebrows and his eyes/mouth/nose still need work. I've also noticed his cheekbones protude too much in comparison with the rest of the face so he looks like a bit of a freak.
