Will we be able to script the ragdoll effect when enemys die? Like in Half-life 2, Halo 2 or Unreal?

Coz that would so rule, I would just make games so they fall and hit things! Mwhahahaha!

If a model has a decent death animation and falls over dead when it is supposed to - that will do me.

Ragdoll physics in FPSC - a little bit unrealistic me thinks.

Yeah but, It's just the thought of shooting someone and they fly back, smash aginst the wall and flop dead. Or even shooting an enemy off a drop and seeing em splat! Dosn't matter though.

Well in FPSC if you shoot a enemy thats standing up at the wall(With a shotgun ETC) then the enemy will splat up on the wall and sit down(Leaning on the wall)

I thought ragdolls would be implemented somewhere down the line, I read it a while back in a newsletter.

Guns arn't the problem, people are the problem, shoot all the people and guns arn't a problem anymore.

"Sir Daniel" you always make it sound like the physics is somthing to hold your breath for. It is not. The physics are not for sure, end of story. Now lets just keep our eyes out for the EA version instead. We can talk about things that might (might not)
be after the EA version is released.

I have to say that comments like this are absolutely pathetic and are no help to anyone at all. If you've nothing constructive to say then shut your f'ing mouth. Would you have the balls to say this to Jordans face, I doubt it!!

I love the idea of FPSC but twats like you (and your not alone) are a total waste of space. People come on here to ask genuine questions and are shot down in flames!! Have you never asked a question in your life? Or are you the kind of person that relies on 'GOOGLE' for answers because you have no real friends?

"Coldnews" was not serious in those statements and you comming here starting a flame war will not help anyone.
His point is if you read the FAQ and the Newsletter you already know about the Physics. And there are 2-3 threads about this subject all with a similar topic and they are all within the last week.

I am also sick of People that keep asking way out things like
"why don't the models have facial animation like Halflife2?".
(ok that is a exaggeration but its almost like that)

Thats a fair point Noldor, but if thats the case then why can't you all just point people to the correct thread instead of being so damn rude. There is no need for it in forums like this as there's enough of it in the world already. If your really that fed up then don't answer at all.

To reply like that is more ignorant than a 'possible' beginner asking an innocent and valid question that has already been answered.

Ok i see what you are getting at.
I usualy dont answer when im not interested.
(I cant answer for Coldnews on that)

But the other 2-3 threads about this subject have about the
same answers.
Or atleast answers like Read the FAQ, or Read the Newletter.
Wich i think both are good answers.
(Because if you are here asking questions you should already
have read the FAQ)

As I said before, I don't dispute that - i just don't see the need for totally ignorant answers. You must also remember that people read things in different ways and don't always understand the way some things are worded.

I'm sure we all agree that should COLDNEWS have answered that question like that to someones face, he probably would have had his own legs broken!!

I agree with everyone. Shall we argue about that?

Seriously - Someone Official

We need a Forum Member/Posting Rules Thread at the top of this Forum.

Otherwise if I have to write or read any more of this I am going to fall asleep and wake up when FPSC EA is released

zzzzzzzzz What was that - its coming.

Again I agree, all I'm saying though is rather than be rude, dont't answer at all!! There are 7 pages of god knows how many threads and people are expecting others to read every single one before posting.

Don't get me wrong, I think the FAQ's that COLDNEWS has done are great, and very informative. All I'm saying is, lets not be so rude. There seems to be far too much of it going on in this forum as a whole and there is absolutely no need at all for any of it.

Lets just all look forward to a great product, and do what's intended of this forum - be nice and helpful. If you can't be nice, then keep your fingers away from the keyboard!!!

Hi Matt,

Nice to meet you.

Theres no excuse for being rude. We dont need that here.

I will help anyone if I can with any question no matter how many times its asked, or how silly a question it may seem. Personally I dont mind helping out someone, rather than them looking through a lot of threads or the FAQ as Ive always said. Thats just me though...nice and friendly.

One day I will need some help too.

Friend to all

To all

Unfortunately, I am very human and sometimes get a little agitated. So you will forgive me if I dont come across as intended sometimes and sound off wont you. Its a trying time at this Forum as you all know but that will ease with time and the coming of FPSC.

Its good to see that users are self modding here and being friendly.

Theres a bit of good news at Lees Diary to keep you going.

Thanks

hehe! this is great. Yeah I wasnt being serious, it was all in good fun. I am pretty fed up of people asking these questions and cluttering up the forum as there is an FAQ. But I'm not so sad as to make idle threats to people accross the internet. Or if I did, I'd have the intention of following it up. I would have said those things to Jordans face because it was said in jest, and I would gladly do it to prove a point.

well, I've given FPSCreator some sound effects, hopefully I'll be doing some more TGC stuff in the future, I've given info about FPSCreator (im a Beta tester), also a few screenies around, I've also given bug reports to TGC to help get FPScreator out sooner. So, what have u done in the past 2 months to help anyone on here? Get a sense of humour man!
