Hi, some of you may have seen our project on the WIP board. The final aim is to make an online deathmatch/teamplay style FPS. The game doesn't really have a set style, could be some parts war, some scifi, so just all out sillyness

. But one thing we do need that we lack at the moment is a reasonably good texture artist (we lack texture artists full stop actually

).

We're looking for someone who could become reasonably full time, though anyone who thinks they can texture one or two models is welcome to accept that job

. But in the end, someone full time with reasonable texturing skills and experience is what we really need. Our modeller is dedicated, and has already created some top quality models for use it the game. Only they look kind of out of place in DBPro grey

.
Here are some links to the images of the models (I'm not directly linking, as they could be a hassle for 56kers). The texture dimensions for most of the models would be 256, or 512, depending on the size and importance of the models. Weapons can be given 1024 textures, as they are close to the camera. The texture format should be either png, jpg, or preferably dds (DBPro's/DirectX's internal format).

The vehicles aren't essential, but they'll sure be used as props if someone can texture them

.
It's more than fine for the levels if you want to use textures off of limefly.net, or another royalty free texture gallery. Any textures must be royalty free, and must be fine to distribute freely (game and engine are open source).
Prof (our modeller) can UV map the models, but if you prefer to unwrap them yourself, by all means do.
If you are interested (and who wouldn't be

), then either post here, or email me (post here is preferable). Also add me to your msn if you want, and we can talk more in depth about the task ahead

.
Thanks in advance for your help.
p.s. Mods, feel free to move this post if you think it is not appropriate here, but I thought more texture artists would look on this board than the team board.
Isn't it? Wasn't it? Marvellous!
