make a cup of coffee. make sure it has much cafeene to bring the worlds economi down. sit on a chair. face the window. and just take a look out side while ur drinking coffee. the first thing that pops on ur mind just write it down.
thats how i make my games. i thank god for this technique. some people drink alcohol and weed for it
seriously i dont think there arnt much people who can help u out on this. u have to depend on ur own mind power(imagination). think about all the games u can make. and write them down. make a list. and depending on ur programming skills and how good u r, pick the one u think u can make.
i hope i helped

...also when you first start a project, make sure you finish it before you start on something else. else you might end up with toons of half finished games that you are too lazy to finish and that only prooves you dont have to willpower to be a great programmer atleast thats how I see it I got lots of stuff I have not finished and I just cant stand looking at the code without getting tired and want to leave but hmm, when I first start, I wont move for ages.. my mom gets really pissed sometimes

I have started a project, and then started another project, and then another, and another. I thought that this was not a good thing to do, but I have re-thought this approach. It is actually a good way to program if you can get into the habbit of going back to the old projects. I am back to Barricadium now, after a long rest. A demo is nearly ready.
