Is there a way to totally remove a program from your computer, like all files, registry entries, everything! Do you guys know of any tools that will do this?

Thanks!

You could make a program(using your darkbasic skills) that records every registry change from two different times (just before installing program, and just after). Sort it into entries. And when your unstalling something, you check the entry and delete or change the registry back.
Meh, just an idea...

Buy an uninstaller program. It will watch it install and will be able to totally uninstall it.

May I ask are you installing a 30 day demo, realized that the 30 days are up, and want to uninstall to reinstall?

If the answer is yes, I can help.

Trying to extend the allocated trial period without purchasing the product is illegal

Google Ashampoo WinOptimizer Platinum Suite, that has an awesome reg cleaner if you are just trying to remove some bad, obsolete and unused reg entries. It does cost a bit of money but it has some really useful tools, the startup editor thats included in the trial version is free...

heres a tip:

buy norton goback, install it, put it in to safe try mode, install the program, then get rid of it by opening norton goback up and by clicking decline changes, reboot - computer is identical to how it was before you installed it

Used to be Phoenix_insane registered in september 2003 despite what the date says to the left <--

Yes.. but look. I installed the program MONTHS ago... without ever even considering a purchase... and used it like once or twice, now I might buy but want to evaluate.. Well if this is illegal then I don't want to do it but its not illegal; I just want to evaluate a purchase.

So yeah Cellbloc I could use some help .

to completely get rid of everything: get that reddish-brown powder (forgot the name), put a lot of it under your harddrive (go outside for this), and light it with a fuse (cafeful now!!! ). it works, guarenteed.

Well, I actually use IanG Surreal Studio trick, but when I bought goBack Roxio owed it and it showed you a log of EVERYTHING that was done to your computer. You could save the log and "redo" it anytime you wanted (then Norton got their hands on it, darn them).

I am not a fan of "30" day demo. For example, I was only supposed to be in Honduras for 2 weeks, and as of yesterday it has been 9 months. If you download a software online, you should be able to register it and ask for a key that you can use for a time period, and if you need more time, you can request another key.

Anyways, I would need to know the name of the program. You can email me if you don't want to post the name.

Let me know.

Don't buy it, buy your mom some roses instead. Unless your mom is dead that is.... or if you never had a mom... then just buy a cat.

GogetaX: You mean that if you use Shift+Delete on a folder in Windows Explorer, it bypasses the Recycle Bin, right?

Yes but exporting is the most important part of a trial. You have to make sure the output works correctly.

Yeah I would look to see if they have a later version.
