I just got my drivers licence. What should I go do know?

Right now, I'm thinking of something along the lines of a multi-state police chase.
I don't intend for this to take on a political tone. I'm just here for the drugs.

Go very very fast. Tis a nice feeling But get an imported Jap rally specialist (like me) rather than a petrol eating bathtub like you seem to like over there. Trust me, around 5 secs 0-60 mph from a turbocharged 4x4 AWD 2.0 litre engine that does around 20-30mpg (heh, thats low over here) is amazing. Infact go one better than me and import a Mitshubishi Lancer Evolution 7 Extreme. Does 0-60 in about 4 secs and really only an F40 equivalent can beat (just, and then only in a straight line). And we are still talking about 20mpg! Don't get the american version though, looks like a family car (supposed to appeal to US look). Yuck. Hasen't even got a very big spoiler (normally approaches the roof )

Ahem... or buy a nice normal car that is lucky to see the better side of 90mph, and your gran would like it Nah....

Sod it, get a Supra. It won't beat the evo, but is a total knee wobbler and no mistake Or go British and get an Elise. Nice un-practical car with absolutely no mod cons (4 wheels and a chassis? Honest, pretty much nout else), but looks ammmmmmaaaazzzzzzziiinnnnnnnggggggg, goes like stink, and handles like a dream for around 34mpg... nice...... sigh.... if that car doesn't attract all sorts of attention then nothing will....

Buy a new computer AND buy a seriously fast car.

Know what you mean about German cars, I just like the sheer acceleration and handling you get from the Scoobies and Evos. Amazing. And for the money nothing touches them. Ok, so the interiors are nothing special, and they don't look fantastic (still love the Supra and Elise), but keep up with them (esp. on a back road) and I'll be surprised.

The only thing German that has any interest is a Porsche. Always wanted one, love em. But a Boxter is the only realistic model (I have a 6 year max car allowance), and only the 911 is capable of staying with the above cars really. And spending about 4 times less just makes sense at the minute (as opposed to doubling the mortgage etc)

if you want a cool car, buy a tvr(AKA the blackpool beast)tuscans are best,go to there site (tvr.co.uk) I doubt you could afford it though unless your some sorta total rich kid if you want something not particularly fast(fairly fast) looks good but doesn't cost tooooo much try a fiat barcheta or coupe they arent family cars made into sports cars like an evo they started life as sports cars so it looks cool. anyway thats what I think

TVRs are nice, just totally unreliable. My boss had one and it was always going wrong. Got an S2000 instead. Not as good to look at, but works much better.

Ah, AM, you live in Sweden. Well known for slow driving and ultra safe cars. Although some of the top Volvos mind you can shift quite well.

And the fiat? Too slow.

Oh I know, buy a Nissan 300ZX (Fairlady elsewhere). Tis totally gorgeous and does 0-60 in around 5.5 secs. Nice. Get a nice 1993 one for only a few grand. And as a bonus they have pop up lights like an MR2. Nice....

Ang on though, you are in the US aren't you? Then really really really don't get a mini. Hee hee, I could just imagine how they would go down over there. If you have seen any (Italian job?) then they are about the size of a small dog. Ish. Really doesn't fit in with the car image over there, unless of course we (in the UK) are being mislead. After all it wasn't that long ago that an episode of Neighbours (Aussies) thought we were all chimney sweeps, covered in soot, and spoke like pykies all the time. Ho ho ho, little did they know that we only make young boys clean chimneys these days...

I am of course lying. As every person in the UK knows that only the lord of the shire is allowed to inspect chimneys on his bi-yearly inspection and tax collection, when he brings along a professional team of cleaners. Tis all covered by the monthly council tax we pay. Basically since 1995 when 3 young boys were found dead inside a large chimney in Leeds.
