Can you make Sprite Collision ignore transparent areas on sprites?

What's the difference between Sprite Collision and Sprite Hit?

Currently, DBPro does not have good sprite collision. There is a dll download somewhere that gives you perfect pixel collision.

TGC are currently fixing this issue with DBPro.

DB Classic however does have pixel perfect collision.

Why would TGC have left in the same collision that DB Classic had?

Anybody know where this dll is? I'll go search around.

Edit: Why wouldn't TGC have left in the same collision that DB Classic had?

I've searched around and the only DLL I found isn't free. Is that the one you mean?

(I would have used the edit, but there was an "Unknown System Error")

If you go to the CodeBase here, you can find a function written in DBPro that can be inserted and called in your programs. It does fairly well for most situations dealing with sprites. I am using it in a 2D game I am working on. The nice thing about it is its free. It uses memblocks and some BIT masking to achieve pixel perfect collision.

Never mind! I found my copy of this function, and I pasted it below.
Instead of using SPRITE COLLISION() or SPRITE HIT(), use SpritePixelCollsion() to check for sprite collision.

There are two other collision routines you can get in the CodeBase besides this one.

Oops! Sorry, just click the source tab at the bottom right to get the code. I hope this helps you.
