where would i go about getting one, and what programing language would i need to use it?

Why not use an emulation on your PC ? ..

Although, If you really need to find a physical one, Ebay or perhaps putting an AD up in your computer store come to mind. Since somebody in your areas is bound to still have one in their closet and may well be willing to give it to you.

As for what languages, well it's been some 20 odd years since I had one, but there's certainly various editions of Basic / Pascal etc and of course 6502 assembly.

Wow, I learnt to code on an AppleII.

The standard built-in language was a very basic form of BASIC, and IIRC, there was also a built-in assembler too.
