3 Dimensional Chat / 3DS Max UV mapping question/help

Hi,

I have 3Ds Max 4 and my problem is that when I texture my model the texture comes out blurred and maybe a bit stretched on the object. I dont know what I've done wrong to make it look like that. I added a pic to show what I mean, I hope someone can help me with this, it's not finished yet but you can see what I mean.

send me a copy of the scene file/texture and I will take a look. I cant think of anything off of the top of my head that would do that.

Do each of those breaks in the texture line up with a line segment?

Yes, I get that in the viewport, BUT when you render it, does it look ok?

yep i think its only in the viewport..try changing your video drivers..set it to openGL if that isnt the case..that helped me.

I get that all the time in Max. I just ignore it, since it's not what it is when I export and pull it into a game engine for example.
