You should be able to, probably through mail order order.

DBPro is a more advance and faster version of DB, to put it simply.

it have sum more commands that do thing like

1)load BSP files that are you stand Quake 3/half life maps

2)PARTICLES FX

3)NETWORK on LAN or the internet

4)you can call DLL file

and a lot more but i do`t have the time to go in to it all

... alot of the actual features within DBpro can also be found with DB Standard and Enhanced ...

the actual language is the same setup, so it isn't a big jump from the products.
The most major differences between the two is that Professional is a much faster with 2D and 3D Rendering, and due to it being compiled the Math and Code also run considerably faster.

Apart from speed another good update is the Variable Type definitions, allowing much more versitility with the programming as a whole.

Download both demo's and decide for yourself which is better

Don't forget .PNG files - far better than any other format DBP can load IMHO, especially when you can use them for alpha channel work (such as in the Rainbow shaders, etc).

I read every single forum post (they all get emailed to me) so I'm somewhat selective which ones I'll reply to Technically I guess that means "I'm back". As for being obsessed by 2D, sure why not? But fear not - all the current crop of DBPro tutorials are firmly stuck in the land of 3D.

I heard that DBPro also runs in a window mode, so you can run other thing on your computer, knida like Dark Edit, this true?

Hentai/Arrow Yes its a fully Windows based interface. Also you can make your games/programs run in re-sizable windows much more reliably with Pro too, should you ever need this feature

That's really great! But the help files will be in English if I buy it. Oh my God!. Why can't be it written in Spanish too? DBPro didn't arrive to Spain. Damn Hell!! I'll think about getting DBPro.

well the help is in english because the whole team is english - and hopefully this time in UK English rather than US English (something that always bugged me about the language is that everything is americanised )

but i'm sure someone will be willing to do a simple translation to it.
and yes DBpro uses .dbpro and .dba file

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but you may well find your DB1 orojects don't open in DBPro - none of mine did. There are plenty of explantaions why around in this forum. It really annoyed me at the time, but it doesn't take TOO long to convert them
