I thought it would be nice to have a single thread where people can post URL's for some useful 3rd party tools that will compliment FPSC. I know of two which many of you are already aware, but there may be some people who aren't aware of these. I'm thinking anything from 3D modeling tools to audio software.

So help out and post relevant URL's for either freeware or shareware tools that will help everyone with their game design using FPSC.

I'll start it off:

AV VCS Gold
Voice Changing Software
Change your voice and add FX to create .wav files for your FPSC games.
Base price $49.99

Install Creator
By: ClickTeam
Freeware
Use this tool to create an installer for your FPSC games.

Here's another one that I have at home for creating music tracks. It's very easy to use and you don't have to be a "musician" to figure it out. Plus, it's not too expensive

Magix Music Maker Deluxe 2005
URL: http://site.magix.net/index.php?12641&version=standard
Price: $59.99

They also have a sound pool DVD that has 10 CD's worth of additional FX, instruments, etc., for $29.99.

Quick and easy for creating background music for your game...if that's what you're into.

If you don't want to use pre-recorded loops in your music creation, a great tool is MusiGenesis. ([href]www.musigenesis.com[/href])

It creates its own loops at random based on the instruments you choose, and you can choose to accept or reject the loop and try another until you feel you have it right. It's very innovative, allows you to create music which is purely you own from scratch, and costs under US$20.

Basically dark.

Instead of Install Creator I suggest Inno Setup from:
http://www.jrsoftware.org/isinfo.php
It's free even for commercial use and much better than Install Creator, you can even use Pascal for custom setup pages.

For those of you that are lazy and don't want to make your own music, I recommend the video game remizes at http://www.vgmix.com/ , though don't blame me if the game owners'lawyers come for a visit.

Now is the winter of your discontent.
