No, it will not be officially supported on Win 2000 (ME), because there are some bugs that they could not fix in fpsc, although, you can try getting it for ME. Then, meaby you could upgrade to xp ?

It is somethere in the diaries, so go check it out.

Oh, well there is nothing mentioned about 2000 not being supported, so I guess it is ok for you to get fpsc.

Lol, jk, I dont have longhorn 7.0 Beta....but, some of my friends know some people who sell that.

Windows 2000 is basically the same as Windows XP under the hood. If it works on XP, it should work on Windows 2000.

Windows ME however is probably the worst edition of Windows released since 3.0.

The answer to yet another one of your FLOOD posts is in both the subject title of Richards announcement from today and in the message of that thread itself.

Quote: "We have decided that it will be Windows XP only."

Windows 2000 (ME/PRO/?) is NOT XP and therefore will NOT be supported (based on the info we have been given at the moment).

So, the question WAS answered and there was NOT a need (once again) for you to FLOOD the forum.

Maybe it will and maybe it won't. The issue is the question has clearly been answered.

It's simple math and logic really:

Windows 2000 (ME/PRO) ≠ Windows XP

≠ (not equal to)

Now for the logic part(If/Then):

IF Windows 2000 ≠ Windows XP and FPSC EA will ONLY be released for Windows XP, THEN FPSC will NOT work with Windows 2000.

Urm, WinME is part of the 95/98 family of windows. Which is not supported for the EA.

Windows 2000 is part of the NT, 2000, XP family of windows. I do not have 2000 but it's the predesessor to XP so Like RobK said it has quite a good chance of working on it.

You know what's coming next, don't you? Yet another thread asking (demanding) that jasuk70 or one of the other beta testers run out and install 2000 as a dual boot to test it for him.

To correct - Windows 2000 is not *guaranteed* to work with FPSC, but I suggest that it is very likely that it will.

I did a little testing with Mike as I use Win2000Pro, and the first 5 or so beta's did'nt work, he managed to fix that bug though, and I've had no problems since - so I'd be very very surprised if 2k was not supported.
