i'm trying to animate a 3d model that is suplied with pro in the media section.

now i can easily show the model no problem but i can't append the animation file. i followed the help file commands and put them where i thought they should go but it didn't wanna work. it did compile though.

i was wondering if any1 could help me out and help me fix the problem. heres the whole code so far. mostly test code till its sorted.

it don't work this way

and it don't work like this either

1 of the problems is that i don't know how many frames there is. i just guessed and no luck.

if i can get this sorted then any animation should be fine. then i can work on a collision routine of some sort.

thanks for any help given

dont use append object the model already has animation data, you only use that ifyou wont animation data from another object.
if it still doesnt work try using this to make the model move and aniimate:

(the speeds and angles are just guesses so thay probably need changing)

hope that works and helps, get back to me with the results.
