Couldn't you change it so that the forum name (not necissarily also the login name) can be shorter than 4 characters? I've always called myself AM on the Internet but here not even my backup name "A_M" works (many web services require at least 3 letters).

I know it might not be a big deal but it's quite annoying (I'm not the type of guy that likes to change username every other month) and quite frankly I don't see the point of that restriction...

Oh, and apart from that this forum seems great.

Dunno, was nice and easy to reply to. Much easier than AndreadMattson said.... see, I even typed it wrong thanks to hopeless typing method (see sig). AM much easier, see?

Cheers

I am 99% probably lying in bed right now... so don't blame me for crappy typing

Oh, I just found out you can have spaces. Guess I'll use my full name (which nobody seems able to spell :S)...

Why not then have AM__ (ie. 2 spaces at end), or __AM if it right trims it?

Okay I have reduced the limit to 3 letters. The deal with spaces in the forum name is that you have to have at least 3 letters, not just characters. So you can't have "A B" (several spaces inbetween) because there are only 2 letters there really.

thats service for you.
but wasn't it more than 3 letters and space. it wouldn't let me have H A L or what Dazzag said, and it said that H AL had too many spaces?? anyway doesn't matter now, things are looking good for us threeletterers.
Thanks rich.
