As all you know, I got a crap computer, so I wanted to know what you thought of the price that I am paying for these parts, and if there is any better price I can get. Also, I would like to know a good GFX card for a cheap price too.

Currently Planning to get:

Athlon 64+ 2800 CPU = $156CAD

And I plan to buy 512 MB or RAM for about $150 CAD

Anyone think it's a good price?

Not bad.
Make sure you have a compatible motherboard and a good fan.

What province are you in?

For a gfx card, I'd look at the nVidia GeForce 5200 or the ATI Radeon 9600 Pro or XT. Though if you have a few bucks, you can do the 9800 or the 5600. Just one hint of advice... If your gonna buy the radeons, stick with the Pro and XT's, the SE is just utter crap.

If you love someone, set them free; If they come home, set them on fire.

Memory may not be compatible. Make sure it's DDR and not SDR!!!
DDR is 184 pin SDR is 168 pin I believe.
Also, CHECK NEWEGG.COM FIRST. Pricing on there is always better than local shops.

Before you do that, read the reviews. This is why I don't trust anything else than Newegg. Newegg has never once failed me on a single order and their prices are so much better. If you find someone who is selling below what NewEgg is selling it for, BE WARY. NewEgg is usually the only place to trust on prices.
