Why is Gamespace so much more expensive than 3D Canvas Pro? and is gamespace easy to use?

Video games…they can take you places unreachable, impossible, unfeasible. They put you in the book...they put you in the movie...they put you in a world, a world that before could only be imagined.

I have heard that 3D Canvas is not over all that good. I use trueSpace, which is by the same company as Gamespace. Gamespace is deffinatly worth the money, if you have it.

I think the lack of responses are because the questions have been asked so many times before Gil. No offense intended -- they're legit questions -- they're most likely answered several times over in the sticky threads at the top of the board.

As to the cost issue, I laid out the $299 USD for GameSpace after trying the 3D Canvas demo. From what I've learned about 3D modeling so far, GS was a steal when the features were compared to price vs. other programs, and it left lots of room for me to grow into (I'm a programmer by trade, not an artist). For me, it fit nicely in that slot between entry-level programs like Canvas and the big-time (= $$$$$) programs like 3DS Max or Maya.

I would say go with GameSpace if you can,it really is a great program but if you can't try Fragmotion its very good and very cheap.

First thing you should try gameSpace light and Milkshape 3D demo.
I personly think that Milkshape 3D is better because the price
gameSpace is a great tool but for $300 you can get better
like Silo which is just $109 but it can only model no animation
and no uv tool (I think) there are softwares out there that can
uv and animate which cost about $45.

P.S
If I remember correctly you should get Milkshape3D when you buy
gameSpace but it is an unregister version but without 30 days.
