I actually downloaded tokamak instead of newton .... ok i need a boost phew ... now to get something out of this mess , does anyone know a place to get a documentation for tomakak ? i read some saying tokamak is twice faster than newton physics , wich everyone use ??? is it more accurate ?? what are the arguments of both these ?

There actually is a big discussion about the most popular free/semifree physics sdks on the Newton forum. I dont know where exactly. You can search yourself to find it. Now obviously its very biased towards Newton, but I think there is some good information there.

Based on everything Ive read, Newton is the best free physics sdk overall. Thats taking account of ease of use, accuracy, speed, documentation, etc. Really Im surprised they dont charge money for it especially considering all the features it has.

Newton is fast, I had concerns at first but I can actually create more efficient code using Newton. They obviously know their stuff when it comes to optimisation.

On top of that, Walaber has done a good job of the wrapper for DB. And the examples are also a very good way to get started fast.

Well one day youll find that the most efficient solution may actually be worse than a solution thats a little slower but easier to program. It just depends on the situation. My point is that you shouldnt base your decision solely on efficiency. Cause if you do, you may end up using an API or SDK thats super efficient but horribly documented. And if its horribly documented than it is hard to use by default. And so you will waste an immense amount of time.

...which is why I'm happy with Newton . It's well documented, and easy to use.

edit

i'd actually like to know if there is a sorta tutorial from demo1 to demo2 .... cause in the one there's a cube , in the 2 there is box creations , sphere , matrix , stuff

it's still unclear eventhough very well explained , can anyone make a simple code or show some like the one i did for nuclear glory ?? (ok it's taken from another user but i still commented it)
