SkyBox for level is set at time of game making. We need a way to choose to load a different skybox for each level in the editor so that when we test the game the sky box we want for that level shows up in the test level. i.e. as well as global setting or paramaters for game as a whole we need to be able to set level preferences individually for each level so that we can see those differences in the test game and how they affect what we do in relation to a particular level.

I have a large game to make and I dont want to be looking at the default nightime sky for the next year in all my levels and have to wait until I compile the full game before I can see different skies in different levels. Of course I could compile each level fully as a standalone.exe as I go as a test, then later delete them all, but thats not the way to do it.

Maybe I can cahnge each levels sky box now and have not found out how to do it - if so how can it be done?

Appologies if I have missed something here.

TGC it would be useful too if we had a sticky thread for all the many valid and useful feature requests being posted here so keepimg them all together.

I've noticed a similar thing for background music. There may be a way to do it, but I've not found it yet.

Needs sorting for me at least its important. As I said I dont see any way other than to compile each level as an .exe to see these things in action - no big deal I guess unless you have huge complex levels which I will - to any limits I can ascertain anyway.

If you set your skybox and music in the Game compile menu
and then don't compile the map. the map will be using the new
skybox and music when you test the map.

Another feature i was thinking about dunno if it could be added in, and might be nice would being able to control a rotation of the sky box and possible dual layred sky boxes.

For instance if you wanted to make a space game and when from building to building outside on a planet such as mars it would be nice to have dual layers one with stars planets and such, and one with clouds where the stars/planets where stationary and the cloud box with a alpha trans set to 50 (half visible) would rotate the clouds slowly. Or stars on one box and a alpha 50 with stars on another rotating very slowly giving more of a depth type look to the sky.

It can be done in dbp obviously and it usually looks nice, thought it might be able to be added into fpscreator if enough people would be using it.
