Hi,
I can't wait till I get my hands on what looks like a brilliant product ... I'm going to wait till the 'true' release because my games really need online/co-op support - anyone sure if this will be in the release??? - anyways, I was wondering how well the built in AI in the games work ... I just have my doubts on click together AI eg. when I created games on The 3D Gamemaker the enemies would get stuck behind obstacles etc. Can enemies here you, react to you etc...? Related, will there be built in AI to have allies - eg. people on/join your team that join in and fight/follow with you? This may be a stupid one but does the game support cut-scenes; avi or interactive - ie. Half-Life 2? Maybe comparing a quick click-together game engine with Valve's revolutionizing technology is a bit unfair! . Can anyone answer my questions please.
Thanks in advance,
James

all od these answers are available in other threads in the forum, please search before you post a new thread.
multiplayer is HOPED to be in V1. Cut-scenes are not supported at the moment. For all the other questions why not download the Demo when it is release ( a few weeks away apparently).
enjoy the forums

Here's to hoping for Multiplayer in V1 (I've already made one deathmatch level and another one is in the works).

Now is the winter of your discontent.

Well no one is sure about multiplayer.
As far as i know Physics seem to be at the
top of TGC's to do list.
But both would be nice. Along
with a load of other features.

Thanks "coldnews". I have been lost among the flood of new posts.
This forum is almost unworkable now.
We need a feature in the forum that shows me what thread
i have posted in.
(i love the feature when blue threads means that there is news i
have not read)
Right now i have to use a piece of scrap paper to see wich threads
i have posted in so i can follow up on them later.

Realy nice to be back to.

Keep at it guys. Noldor - way ahead of me there. Ive been concentrating on other aspects, basically buuilding tests for levels that I want to create to find the limits of FPSC and if it can do what I want, though I have my own folder structure with copies of everything set up - so I am using those, (leaving the default intact) ready to switch out to my own customised versions. In the mean time I amd using everything which therefore looks and is exactly the same as the default content. If I can bulid the levels I want then I will exchange stuff and add new later, hopefully.

See ya later - much later.

Busy week working next so dont know how my FPSC building will go for a while.

I'll be back

@JamesEvs:
Enemy ai could be a lot better. They will shoot at you and come
after you. you can edit scripts to control basic behavior, but
they still can't use tranporters and so on. I think this will be improved later on.

Arghh, probably am not going to keep up with you guys. Way to slow computer and I can't see shadows yet because of my sucky graphics card. I don't want to release a game so far cos I really don't know how it looks like on your systems =>lighting

*Waiting to buy new graphics card*
