I can make models of weapons, ammo, furniture etc as well as textures for them and for walls, floors and cielings. Please tell us what formats of models and images are required (as well as image dpi etc) and if possible your reccomendations of modellers. I use Lightwave mainly. If youre able to relate this nitpicky stuff, i can make a large assortment.

hmmm .x --Lightwave doesn't export to .x, neither does carrarra. Anyone suggest a modeller for .x? doesn't have to be freeware

You can get a free version of Gamespace (GS Light) and it outputs .X with texture files. I think it's at www.caligari.com/gamespace. (It's a game model development tool based on Truespace.

I use Lightwave and 3ds max, neither export .x files. Is there a converter or plug-in out there that does this for either program? Thanks ahead of time for any help.

Hi this is t7 I use lightwave 8.0 I found a good program that is very easy and cheap. This program can import any 3D file you have and export it out in over 400 formats. It also show your 3 D work in a 3D view as you work. check it out http://web.axelero.hu/karpo/

ok... it took awhile for my post to make it up here, and by the time it did, I found a free plugin for Lightwave. Check out D-Storm's site for it...

http://www.dstorm.co.jp/english/plugin/object.htm

NOW my problem is, I have the .x file and .dds but I can't convert it in to a usable entity... I don't seem to have this .exe file that does it (like the "manual" suggests) and just dropping it in to the folder obviously doesn't do the trick. Does anyone have any suggestions because I am dying to actually make my own content and such for this program! Thanks ahead of time for any help.
