I've just got a scam email just now, and the sender claims to have got my contact details from an Ivory Coast Information Centre and wants me to send money so they can get some box blah blah blah...

Now here's the big screw-up. The sender is using Yahoo UK! MORON!

Anyone else smart enough to see stupidity like this?

You can sign up to yahoo from any country: http://ru.yahoo.com/ for example. Another: I live in the UK and I have a .com account.

Yeah, but why not use Yahoo in that country, or the .com version?

Q: Who is more stupid?

1) The scammer.
2) The victim.
3) None of the above, they all deserve to be shot for their own sake!

i got accepted into the "National Honor Roll" and my mom believes it.
she's sending my personal inofrmation off to them because i won't and i'll be harrassed by various companies until they put me six feet under. maybe even after that. i guess i'll be intercepting something soon.

I wouldn't call the victim an idiot; ignorant is more appropriate. But if they get fooled more than once then we can all laugh and point at them.
