With the FPI Editor, I opened the script (Follow) in the people file folder. I edited the animate number to 32 (Crouched: Move slow) so that the enemy would crouch to waypoints, simple you say? NO, I load it up and nothing happends. So I think meh forget it, I turn the 32 back to a 2 (Move slow) and to my supprise that wouldn't work eather.

In short, why did it not accept my script when all i did was change something and change it back?

I tried it again, loaded Follow.fpi in the editor, saved it in user and it didnt work. The enemy just stays still.

When I alter the animate=# they still walk waypoints, but they do not change animation (no crouching, running, etc.) Reported this as a potential bug.

Same, mine doo nothing! I tried everything! Editor, notepad instuctions in manual!

It 'COULD' be that the waypoints are encoding pre-defined animation to the characters as this does happen on some occasions. Try setting the ANIMATE action 'after' the waypoint actions, maybe this will change the animation in transit to the one you want. Trial and error is the master of learning at this early stage in FPSC existence. In time we will know all!
