Hello, I'm planning on using the Newton Physics Wrapper and Nuclear Glory in my next project. What I want to know is;

If I create a level as a .X object, can I use Nuclear Glory DLL to make a skateboarding style game on it? Will that handle me skating across it, stopping at steep walls, jumping off ramps etc...?

Can I apply Newton to certain objects such as wheelie bins, and ragdoll for when the player falls over, but have Newton "off" when I don't want to use it's physics?

Thanks in advance,
Future DLL user

why don't you use newton for all of it - then you would not need to add code to switch newton off, and you wouldn't have to buy ngc

Newton has collision commands. I haven't used them yet, but they look similar to NGC.

If you use Newton throughout, you won't have to worry about aligning your "boarder" to the landscape or other objects, he will adjust himself. You could always dampen the physics as and when necessary, rather than switch it off.

I don't know what's happening with NGC lately, but it seems to be dead in the water since the end of last year.
