The door has to move out of the way somewhere. Don't place it on a corner.

If you think about it in real life. A sliding doors got to go somewhere It's best to design round these things when building your level like FernandoK says.

It does follow reality. Then again it is rather annoying. I'll post it in Bugs, but it is definitely a minor one.

This is not a bug. The 3D model has to go somewhere. So this is an issue that you the game designer have to cope with. It will always be like this.

You might try reversing the door. That is, if you placed the door from the inside going out, try placing it from the ouside going in. That should reverse the direction in which the door slides.

@FernandoK, The door is in two pieces one will slide in the wall the other will show on the corner, so it doesnt matter what way round they are. But in that vain, replacing with Doors that go up and down may be a way round it.

Problem with that is, if you have a flor directly above or below the door. Now this isn't a problem for singleplayer, but it is for multiplayer.

We did add a telescopic door to show that 'some' of the FPSC doors can disappear inside themselves and be placed on corners. I do take the point we need more door styles, and of course more of other things too. Don't be 'too' surprised if you see some new FPSC doors appearing in the next month, and 'not' from the FPSC team stables!
