Are there any artistic folks out there that would be interested in modding some of the corridor segments to make them look like hand-dug tunnels (dirt with wooden supports)?

If so, one thing that appears to be missing from the current corridor segments is one that opens from the top (like from the floor down to the tunnel). You can rotate the segments, but it looks to me (brief review) that none are open at the top which would be needed for a tunnel under a floor.

I'd hold off on this one for now,
if you can wait a while tunnels and caves are on the Master Graphics list for V.1

Simon - does this mean we can report potential bugs & change suggestions with the current media? I have seen a few minor glitches that could be fixed up, but thought maybe that the core media was done and wasn't likely to be worked on any more.

Noldor, Noldor, Noldor...where have you been all my life?

Seriously though, that is awesome. When you release it, may I have permission to host/mirror a download on fpscreators.com?

I don't think he's gonna release it because he's not supposed too... Maybe if he gets permission.

Sorry guys,I haven't checked the forum for a couple of days....
Go ahead and release the corridor, thats what we want, people creating new artwork to share.

And by all means let me know about glitches in the artwork, I can always find time to make some fixes (chances are they're all Lee's fault anyway......ok ok......maybe I do make mistakes.....occasionally

If anyones got any ideas for media they'd like to see in V1 start a thread on the subject, we look at all the requests - we aim to please.

That's great news!

Any chance the segments will have a top opening so with a ladder, you can climb down from the floor into the tunnel?

Thanks again Noldor.

Simon,

Can you release some of the specifications to the image formats and sizes so that we can make our own? Like decals entities etc.

Thank you

Abit IC7-G Max II, P4 2.5 gig, 1 gig DDR Ram, 80 gig Maxtor HD, NVidia FX-5700 128 DDR, Sound Blaster Live! Digital.

Noldor, have you released them yet? If not, do you have an ETA on them?

Thanks again.

Great work Noldor. I really appreciate it. Once I get them incorporated into my game and have it ready to go, I want to give you proper credit, so please e-mail me or post here (or point me to where you already posted) what the credit should say.

Thanks again!

Noldor and others:

First, a big thank you to Noldor for creating and sharing this resource.

I have packaged this into an installer that will automatically put all the files in the correct places inside your FPSC directory. The download at FPSCreators.com will become available as soon as our Media Bank Manager approves the submission in our DB.

Thanks again Noldor, awesome job.

Frank

Noldor,

You probably saw this request coming a mile away...

The perfect compliment to your Tunnel Segments would be some caverns with the same texture, that way we could have our tunnels lead to somewhere other than a FPSC prefab and it would be more believable. It would only take a couple variations like say a Large Cavern and Small Cavern.

Now, I know TGC is going to have tunnels and caves in V1, but they aren't going to match the textures you have used.

Anyway, just a suggestion/request.

Frank
