SNOW! WOO-HOO! SCHOOLS ARE CLOSED

Where I live, East Anglia, and to a lesser extent, northampton/shire!
I've just been sledging at a really steap hill called "bird's hill", very cool for sledging there! and snowball fights! Yeah, its tempting!

Brrr...I'm coooold! I just came in! Luckily, I have a warm fire!
I'm going up there again later, well, see ya!

Cheers,
AliM

Uh-huh... You and your snow... We dont even get snow!!!

Then again it has been a reasonably cold summer for us down in the south east of South OZ, we had our coldest february day on record a little while ago, a max of 12.

If I were you and you were me, then you'd be yourself 'cos you are me and I am you.

I'm in somerset, but the snow here is absolutely pathetic - more like a bit of frost in odd places lol not a chance our schools going to be closed. It's meant to snow more though...

It was in the 60's the other day, then the next day it snowed. Temperatures can shift so quickly here in ohio, it sucks.

Here at uni in Lincoln, its been snowing for days.
We've been having snowball fights pretty much every night, just like the mature students we are.

Infact, last night, one poor guy was dared to go out in just his boxers. That was funny, until the various teams having the snowball fights all joined forces and threw things at him.

Yeah, at school today, had a good snowball fight, snow coming down nicely.

I didn't throw any snowballs, as I was standing at the edge of the tarmac so I could see if anything was coming, and the snow was blowing directly in my face. Hell, I enjoyed it. I even contemplated changing my forum name (temporarily) to Mr Frosty.

@neofish - ARGHHH MY EYES!

@David T - seriously, you thought that was meant to be a joke?

We had snow too!... well, about 5 isolated weak showers with no settling whatsoever. I love snow, but we never get lots here in south west england. I may have to go to St Andrews university just to catch up.

No snow here, but a crap load of rain for the past few weeks. Really frickin' weird for a desert. My backyard looks like a swamp now.

My school...close...ah ha...that's funny.

Let's not get into that debate again please

A few hours up north from here gets -50 Celcius weather--- and *then* they close down the schools. They figure the kids will freeze waiting for the bus or something like that

-22 Celcius here, and one hell of a lot of snow i might add...

http://www.winnipegweather.com

For those who wish to see the temperatures for the week where i live... Now that spring is on it's way, it should start getting a bit warmer.. I live in one of those places where you get the -40 celcius winters and the +40 celcius summers.

ahh, don't you love the plains east of the rockies? it's similar where I live, only not as extreme. then again I live east of a much smaller mountain range. if that has anything to do with it.

I'm glad I matured past the age where I start a forum thread everytime my school was cancelled due to snow.

Besides, this is Canada. We don't have snowball fights anymore.
