Yay! Finally I learnt how to use lithunwrap properly and textured this little house model. Yes, I know it is sad but, I still think it's cool.

A mighty poly count of 34 I believe.

Sorry if this is a waste of forum space.

That's great for a first effort Durdge39. Currently I am learning Blender and 3d modelling in general. I'll be several weeks away from getting as far as you have gotten. What's next for you?

[shameless advertisement]DeleD can do that totally automatically. Except for the door/window side but it's easy to move that particular texture on the face. [/shameless advertisement]

Seriously though, if you're a beginner, you might want to take a look at DeleD because of its easy to use interface.

Thanks for the feedback guys.

Next I'm just going to try something more complex with lithunwrap, like a basic sword or something. Luckily the modelling side of things I have no trouble with, it's just the time consumption of using lithunwrap to texture everything, I've made half-decent models like the two below but texturing was the only hurdle to get over. Opus, Good luck with blender.

Models (plane is a bit dodgey)

Other One

Downloads if you want to use them:
Sword: http://www.durdge39.net/ofiles/Sword1.zip
Plane: http://www.durdge39.net/ofiles/plane1.zip

I might make a much lower poly sword and see what I can do to it.

JeroenNL: I'm using gamespace light for my model editing and I have become a bit acustomed to it and seeing as I found out to use lithunwrap I might stick to that for a while. Thanks for the advice though.
