If you get the newsletter you know about TreeMagik version 1 being free. Well that's awesome and all but I'm having a problem. I go the model to load perfectly as an entity, and I got the texture on there, but the problem is it requires 2 textures, the leaves and the trunk. I don't know how to do that part. I tried exporting with the media embedded in the .x but to no avail...So now I either have a completely bark tree, or a completely leaf tree. Any help?

there was a workaround for this where you make the tree really small and export basically just the leaves and then take the leaves off and export just the trunk

Then place it as two items and line them up by hand

That was the principle but I dont remeber where I saw it - it was here in the forum though

You need Treemagik G2 to do the workaround that is here the same way.

You would have to uv map your trees in a modeling program to make one texture\skin for it using the free version since it doesn't allow you to reduce the trunk, or take off the branches like 2 does.

That's what I was afraid of...

Oh well I'll try it and if it doesn't work I'll try and scrounge up some cash for G2, which is a lot better from the demo anyways.
