As my subject suggests, I am trying to make transparent textures. Here's a n example of what I mean. Say, a fishbowl or something. Also, how do you go about making clip maps (I know the b&w part, more like how you actually apply it to the object). Thanks ahead of time for help!!!

PS - everyone's stuff is looking nice in here. Very inspiring! Keep up the enthusiasm, I dig it!

Ok, well, apparently I am not explaining myself well enough. What I wouldlike to do is make glass textures, but that involves clear/see-through/not fully opaque textures like the walls and such. Is there a way to have part or all of your objects texture transparent and to a certain degree or percentage? A fish tank isn't invisible, right? Neither is a window. Well, I want some in my game but I can't figure out the texture settings. Any help? Thanks!
