I think i'm running the latest build (EA 20).
It takes me around 30 minutes to light map a small box room with 2 two lights and a couple of entities at full quality settings.

Just for comparison, I can render out a 30k poly scene in brazil with an IBL skylight and a disc area light + two well sampled GI bounces in the same time.

Are there any plans to speed up the lightmapper? Maybe some sort of undersampling would help things out?

Lee said it may be a good idea when building your games that have been lightmaped, you would be better off leaving it run over night.

I guess I should make a request in the future creep section. I think a faster light mapper is much more important than any other bells and wistles right now.
