There was some more about it on the T.V. news tonight.
Apparently it's a Worm that focuses on Servers, reproducing itself and grinding the Server to a halt.

Hey Raven i just thought of another reason to hate Micrsoft (expecially their servers and .net stuff)

The Outside is a evil place to be, too much light, too much noise and too many distractions....
I went outside once and my FPS rate dropped to 5.

Nice site indi. This one shows more clearly what happened
http://www.average.matrix.net/Weekly/markP.html

I wonder if you can spot it?

I have no sympathy really, that vunerability was known about 6 months ago, with the patch available not long after. Besides, I didn't notice any problems either.

just a nessary fact of big programs ... MySql has the best security about for databased, as i've said before - when your a high profile like Microsoft people will try to show you with egg on your face.

But if you actually read the text, the problem had a patch released - so i don't feel sorry for anyone affected, they should've been doing they're job and keeping upto date.

lmao... nope - well atleast not against me
i've seen what goes into developing each microsoft product, and getting 120 programmers, plus 28 debuggers working syncroniously around the clock for the lenght of a project isn't easy.

I'm writing security web services during already four years, but I know that all web services can be cracked/defaced/stolen/...etc
Label "owned by" can be on every site even on MS and my It dependes on hacker's qualify. If he(she) is more qualifed than you, ur site can be defaced.

For example http://blitzcoder.com can be defaced by even automatic software, because its scripts are very buggy!
(VoidEYE, XSPIDER, Legion, pwltool, pwlhack, and more.... and more.....)

"MySql has the best security about for databased"

Personally I believe that Oracle is far better, but then again it is a much higher level program (ie. for major servers) and IIRC costs much more as well. The net seems OK now but it certainly got hit earlier on.

Can I just ask how you found that out

NOBODY has a forum name as stupid as Darth Shader. I do.
