So... here's the Beta Release of the first 4 levels.

General informations:
- Cinematics can be skipped using the [SPACE] bar.
- The game uses the keyboard - mouse commands depending of the level
- You'll be asked to choose your language at the beginning of the game.
- Do not go faster... you'll see that the best way to enjoy the game is to look around & go slow...
- Credits are NOT complete. The final credits was just a way to see how they will looks like.
- A special thanks to VanB for his Terrain function I used in the Level 1.

Known Bugs:
- The loading screen of the level 3 & 4 are not quite good. You'll se some black screens, some blue parts, but wait until the end of the loading. (Update of the exe file should be availiable next week).
- Displaying points: the displaying of the points bar is not 100% perfect. (Also sould be fixed in next exe update)
- Clues in Level 4 are displayed in a strange way... (still not resolved)

Please, post any BUG/Suggestion/Comments in this Thread.
It would be nice to everyone that will download the Beta poosts here the PC configuration in order to let me know on wich kind of PC the game will work or won't.

(Download has been disabled - Will work again with the new release)
http://www.vues3d.com/kalimee/install_kalimee.exe

The file is 78Mb (105 once installed)
Found a bug with the install pack. Due to an error, a shortcut of the game is added in the Start menu of windows.
- Click on the "Start" button thengo to "Startup" list the delete "KAlimee" shortcut. - A new setup file will be uploaded thursday. Really sorry for this, was due to my unexperience on the Install program.

Would like to specially thanks to VanB (that doesn't appears yet in the credit screen) to let me use his Holydays snippet which without this, the level1 would be very very very different.
& also for the help he gave to everyone!!!

Just played the game and his pretty good! Was neded some time do understand the controls, but i'm very impressive!! The game work correctly on my PC windows XP with an ATI radeon s80 of 128 MB and 256 of RAM.

I know you'r already say it, but in the loading for the level 4 the screen was flashing and the display of the point does not appear on the screen. I don't know if this is because is the Beta version or this is normal but, on the level two, with the enigma of the letter, some object you have to click does not display any enigma.

I have comment to do and on the same way a suggestion. The camera movement is a little slow if you can increase the movement number, it will be great. And you can do something with the point because, I was on the end of the level 3 and was not got enough point to do a save something like 2,000 point and I think It will be more easier to do a save.

I love the game for now. I didn't test the 4 level for the moment but I will test it like in 2-3 day because I have my own project !
Keep up the good work!!

It's pretty good, but I got stuck on the second level, where you're in the corridor. Not sure what to do.

Also, why does Kalimee now start every time I log on now? I really don't want it to.

EDIT

Ok, I've disabled it now, but I think presuming that people will want to launch your game on startup is a bit presumptuous. Upload a new exe where it doesn't add it to the startup list.

Isn't it? Wasn't it? Marvellous!

Hamish McHaggis: You're right. I'm a little noob on the InstallPro program & I've done something wrong in it... So now the install program adds the shortcut of the game in the start menu. Should be OK in the next setup file. This is naturally not due to an excessive sense of Megalomania!

sett : On the level4 the poins doen't appears because we don't need them directly. They will be displayd at the end of the level 4 before entering in the 5th level. I'm basing the game on a rule I've set to the game. I want to create the game differently in each level. Changing music, rules, enigmas, screens, graphicals each time you beginn new enigmas/rooms. In this way, player never knows what's the next & he has to think again in new ways of solving the level.
The fact that in the level 2 happens that when you click on an object it only disappears... this haas been volountary done like this. Do you imagine if you have to play more then 20 times with the lettres game? I think many many people would stop it or kill me!
The camera movements seems to be different on each machine it has been tesed. So, I think now I have to create a function that will calculate the fps rate & adapt it on the machine it's running on.

Good point on remark about the points at he end of the level 2.
I really should add a bonus points to reach the first 3000 points.
(Already an idea... )

Thanx to all of you that helped me testing this first release.
Someone told me why the file was so huge...
Here the reason:
- The exe file is 10Mb on it's own.

- Install .exe 3.5mb

- 23 Video files (Cinematics & others)

- 10 music files (between 1 & 2.5mb)

- 3 level models & 15 separated models

- 2500 textures

Ok. And I think your right because playing 20 time the same game with always more long will be a bit long to do. But the next demo will be more great that this. I'm sure of that.
