I have a 3d model that I want to animate with Character shop. The problem is that it is too big. How can I scale down the model or scale up the bones?

Unless something has changed since early January (the last time I asked about this), the answer is that you'll have to try resizing the model in another program.

I was evaluating GameSpace at the same time I played with the Character Shop demo and got "close" to a CS-size model by scaling up in GameSpace, but immediately ran into trouble with the scale of individual limbs (my model didn't have the same arm, leg, head, neck, etc., proportions as the CS demo model).

Since I'd already decided to buy GameSpace anyway, and it has its own animation tools, I didn't take the CS scale problem any further. But anyway, you might try resizing your model and see if you get a better fit than I did. I'm pretty sure Milkshape will do it for you if you don't want to go the GameSpace route.

Best of luck,
