Can a TGC staff member 'please' tell me when the commercial licenses of fpscreator will be availiable? I have been waiting patiently for 2 months now and i have heard nothing so far. I am willing to pay $100 for a commercial license unlimited license.

You will have to wait for an official announcement which wont be before TGC decides to make it.

Its very unlikely that you will see a $100 or sub $100 unlimited commercial license. I dont think thats a reasonable figure though you will have to wait for an official comment.

I was thinking it would be $175- $250. If they were that expinsive I wouldn't get a lisence.

The 3D Game maker has a $100 per title or $500 unlimited license on it. I think FPSC will probably be higher than that.

I got out of doing games as a commercial endevour in 1999, but it would be nice for the people who do wanna make commercial games if the liscence fee isn't very high.

@Dark Mars Software:

You may be waiting a lot longer....

I personally would not expect to see a Commerical Licence until after V1 is released (I am thinking June).

So hang in there! It's not like they can just pluck a number out of the air. They have to have deals with the distributers, cost ratio of how much work/time they put in, overhead, lawyer agreements, new EULA's, support contracts, maintenance schedules, etc...

I think they are more concerned with getting a working product to market first.
