[EDIT]: I know the sound repeats. just realized. It also requires Quick Time Player to play video sorry i dont know how to make a animation file from 3ds max that works on media player

What are some differences between 3ds max 6 and 7.5

The pins seemed to come apart before the ball actually hit them.

If you scroll the quick time bar so you can see the video frame by frame I looks like the ball hits but your right it is a close call.

Does anyone else think the pins are spliting before the ball comes.

EDIT: I see it the ball hits the first pin and then the others going flying from the slight collision of the first pin I can change this by lowering the collison tolerance if its that noticable

[EDIT]: your completly right and I went in 3ds max and watch it literaly frame by frame and at frame 4 the pins start to split and by like frame 6 just before the balls about to hit the pins are all split and then the ball comes in to make them go flying it all happens so fast. Good eye for seeing that But did you like it for my first dynamics scene

why don't you download the whats new pdf they usually release one everytime they release a new version - off the top of my head i think they've intergrated cloth fx
