I read this on the DarkBasic site:
"Visibility of the ellipsoids! This is great for debugging your collision."

How do you make ellipsoids visible?

You need V3, and you need the latest patch. When I say latest, I mean the one that came out around November last year. I don't have the manual with me, but the details are in there, it's quite simple.

Can you rotate ellipsoids with your .x model?

not sure, in 2.03 you couldn't. It was a real pain for things like vehicles, which are longer than they are wide. I had to put 4 collision ellipsoids on each vehicle.

I'm sure I read somewhere it would be better in 3. There should also be poly to poly collision soon too, which will have to rotate with the model.

Hi ,

I Have purchase the Version 3.0 Nuclear glory but I don't
Know how to Visible the Elipsoids and I can't understand
how SetObjRadiusPRO( object, x, y, z ) works

Objects has different sizes in X Y Z and how to offset my
ellipsoids as well and my object collide correct.



How to make my charachter climb stairs and falls when goes down
stairs.

I used SetObjGravityPRO( player, 0.1 ) but my player is going down
through the floor.
