By the way, in "control-panel", "Sound settings" we have Microsoft Sam's voice telling what we want .... Does anybody know how to save this into a wav file ?

Osiris, sorry to tell this, but from that place, I can not save it. So my question is still on :

Just get somehting that records the playing sound the creative recorder thingy did it, but that was 2 years ago min

There is a program, but its a 90$ music making software, frutyloops studio, I could make you what you want and send it to you...

Get an audio cable with jacks both sides that will fit the headphone port. You plug one end in to the headphone port, and one into the microphone port, then its a matter of hitting record in any program that can record sounds.

That is the first thought I had, but then there is a little loss of quality and the wav is not cut exactly at the beginning and thé end of the talk.

I also tried to download some proggies ... but nothing free for now.

HELLO?

ARE YOU BLIND?

MUAHAHHAHAAaaaa....

Start > Programs > Accessories > Entertainment > Sound Recorder
(If you can't be arsed, Start > Run and then type 'sndrec32' (wivout teh qutoes)).


Open up Volume Control, and click Options > Properties.

Under 'Adjust volume for', choose 'Recording' and make sure a load of the stuff is ticked before hitting OK.

Tick the 'Select' box under Stereo Mix, Mono Mix, Wave Out or equivalent.

Close Volume Control, return to Sound Recorder.

Hit Record, play Stupid Sam, hit Stop.

Click Play, here magnificient crapolata.

Anyone remember when the Windows start wav stopped everything else happening until it finished? Windows 3.11 I think. You could freeze someone's PC for ages by selecting a full music track.
