Does anyone else get that thing where most of your doors work, but the odd one does not come up with the message about pressing enter to use and cannot be opened?

Is there something obvious I am missing or is it a bug?

Make sure you are a) using an actual door and not a scenery object (some objects look like doors, but aren't really doors) and b) using a door that's openable.

Now is the winter of your discontent.

Thanks, but its definately a real openable door. Its the same one I've used elsewhere in the same level and not loaded any unopenables or scenery objects in the shape of a door.

@Glenn, Also I've seen some levels where people have managed to put 2 doors so when you press enter, one of the doors openes but it's still blocked by another.

Thanks guys. I'll try checking some of those things tonight. I think it might be possible there are 2 doors there, although, I couldn't see another.

I had the same problem. Listen to smartguy, and check if it is static (red). Sometimes doors just switch to static, because they think it is better to put you in trouble.

I get the same problem with a door. I've tried deleting it, putting it in again, but it never works. It's not static and there aren't two of them. I think it must be a bug of some sort.
