when you set sprite priority what is the limit ie. 1 to ?
also, can you use negative values ie. -1 to -?
also can you use float values ? ie. 1.01 , 1.32 etc?, -1.01, -1.32? etc
in short what range and what sort of values can you use for sprite priority???

here's some code to test the theory - shows I think you can use a float value for priority - but what are the max and mins - anyone?

I don't see any reason for using floats for priority.help says you can have upto sixty thousand sprites so the highest number would be at least 60000. besides you are getting more than one loop for each key press so p and o goes to 5 or 0 with one press.

I get a star box until a key press and after 'wait key' command the screen goes black.

@ wmf,

I was thinking of an isometric rpg I'm working on where several sprites (as in many) would be occupying the sane 'square' with several hundred squares... but I agree 60,000 would probably be enough - just curious at limit... if anyone knew
