I made a sprite crosshair that can be moved with the mouse. I also made a 3d model gun that rotates at the bottom center of the screen to face the crosshair like a turret.

Unfortunately the gun rotates all the way to the left long before the crosshair gets to the left of the screen and likewise when going to the right.

The model is supposed to follow the crosshair to the left or right like a turret gun. Is the default screen resolution too wide or is there a formula to make the gun's rotation range match that of the screen width and the mouse/sprite pointer?

thanks
