Will finally support triggers and views. I don't believe it's been released yet, unless I just can't find it, but here's an overview you can look at.

I've been using mySql 5, or atleast trying to all week.
Bloody thing crashes each time I try a database call, but will connect, create and drop things just fine. Quite frustrating.

I think I read somewhere that

SELECT * FROM WHERE IN (SELECT * FROM ...)

might be in v5. Not sure though.

Subselects have been in 4.1 for ages, let alone the 5 series.

Most importantly of all, MySQL 5.0 supports node clustering, natively. What does this mean? You can have 3 DB servers all supporting instant fail over with each other. Stick an axe through one of your servers and your DB is still available. You can repair the broken node and bring it back up without any interruption of service throughout the entire affair.

Now that rocks.

Edit --- seems like that feature was introduced in 4.1.6(ish) and it's still only for tables in memory Not so kick ass,
