what do you mean? isn't a dll a way to store media files and other data which is used by the exe?

A DLL is a file in which you can store additional commands used by your programs, it's not where you store media (not typically anyway!).

ok... I never used them but I once looked at some dlls using reshack and then I saw there were things in it like mouse cursors, some bitmaps used by the program etc

here is an example of one i picked up on these boards.

most of the time the DLLS that are required are already inside windows but u can bundle them inside the exes folder if u add any weird monkeys

dbc not sure but i cant see why not with DBC and darkmatter.

i got dark matter already, just trying to find a way round some limitations in DB (matrix size, texture size) and i thought maybe a custom DLL could help... not ready for pro just yet

Afraid not. You have no access to any of the DB internals in classic.

i got db boxed version and it included the dll-pack package in if
