3 Dimensional Chat / Is there a way to export animations in .3DS format?

I modled a guy in .X format but his animations are all jumpy. It will skip frames and it look really stupid.

so I'm wondering if it will jump in .3DS format. Either one of these problems fix would be infinitly appreciated (i've been try to fix this glitching animation for about a year now)
