Just a sugestion, have you ever played Final Fantsy tactics, the landscape is a big part of the battles outcome, you gota use tactics to put the archers on hight spots and so on. It would be neet if you put in rocks and trees to take cover behind and stuff.

Finnaly an update =)

I have been doing lots of debugging. Since I didn't had much time to plan the battle mode it has more or less turned into what I call spagethi(sp?) code with increasing amout of lines (over 800 now including the loading part) and it's getting hard to keep track of things as stuff that worked first may be what's messing up when I add new stuff. But I don't have time making this part optimized, just getting it to work as it should.

After the debugging I took some time off, really needed a break. Now I have made all special attacks work as they should. All attacks now result in a number or the word "Miss" moving up from the enemy and particles flying around (as you can see on the shot). The more damage you do the more particles you get and the higher they fly. Over 10 or so in damage and they fly over the visible angle =) Exept for AI and animations this is soon complete and I can concentrate on making the map.

I'm working on the animations now and it really makes the fighting a lot better =) However DBP doesn't display my objects with the right colors so I can't show you an ingame shot so here's a shot from LW. Here you see PG just about to preform his standard attack. He moves forward while he lifts his sword and then swings it forward and over to his left side before moving back again. Looks reall nice ingame even though the colors are messed up.

Lee have informed me that my objects now shows up correctly in patch 4 so I'm waiting for the next beta for taking shots.

Wow! It's really amazing how much more alive the game feels with animations and voices. Patches trippleshot for example starts with him saying "Eat this!". Then he takes aim and fires 3 shots in a row. And then you probably get lots of particles flying and hopefully a prety high damage number raising up. If he managed to kill the target he also adds "Gotcha!"

I just made the nasties say something when they get hit. The green ones says "stop hitting me" =) And I added a limit so you need to do at least 3 damage (Leah's max) for them to say anything.

All voices are recorded by Astral Entertainment (same voices as previous games). I came up with most lines but I let them make it for some (like the chompies).
