Been playing with Truespace 6.6 a little bit this week.
Setup a little page with some renders and a few animations on it.

(right click+save target as for the animations)
http://www.curvedbasic.com/Art/art.htm

Nothing overly fantastic, just having a little bit of fun over my spring break.

I plan on doing some more complicated animations and renders over the summer, so I best start practicing now I suppose. Might even try to recreate some of the scenes in DBP just for the heck of it. Feel free to comment.

Here's my latest work in progress on a character that'll be featured in my next short animation.

Currently 16,000 polygons.

hmm interesting character Mike, I think it would look better if it had less specular or cartoon shading considering he seems to supposed to look like a cartoon dude

Thanks for your comments. I'm going to tweak my character a little more this weekend when I get some time, as well as give him a texture. I'd also like to rig this guy and post some basic animations.

cool, i'd say its a little basic, but i guess you are learning, so I won't critisise that considering the models i produced when i was learning to model, if you look in the thread called Truespace 5 started off by myself someone put in a link for a head tutorial which might be helpful

Thanks for your comments Seppuku. I've been modeling in Truespace for over a year now. The model is pretty basic, although right now I'm just focusing on practicing my rendering and animation versus modeling skills. One of these days, I'll have to model a human and post it to show off Truespace a little bit.
