i am trying to add vst compatibilty to darkbasic (only one way for now). I have example code to get the audio data from programs such as cubase as float (and as a pointer of course) . I want to write a function that will change this data to string data and allow dbpro to access it? can this be done? if so any ideas how?

Could you send me one of those exampe programs that allows audio access? Or just email me the website where i can download it?
I would love to get at audio, and create graphic displays that respond to it.

Thanks

If the example program is in C or C++ maybe you could just make a dll out of it, and then access it from dbp with a dll call?
