Anybody know where I can get a compiler for a Nokia 7560? I looked at the java site, but their SDK is larger than a really large thing. Besides, I hate java. Any way to make stuff for it in C\C++?

But I like C++.
Besides, I'm still paying for the phone. I'll have to wait a bit before I go out buying more stuff.

I think 99.9% of games for cell phones are made in Java, now.... can't really avoid it. And Java scripting is not *that* much different than C++ (and yes I use both extensively)...

I think that you may be able to set a GCC compiler to compile for those tiny chips, but I'm not sure. But since many of cell phone chips are different, it would be best to stick with Java.

The idea behind phones using Java was to exploit "write once, deploy many times" behaviour of java. I can tell you for a *fact* that doesn't work; A Nokia 7250 has a smaller memory heap available than a nokia 6100, both incidentally are series 40.
