Its definitely time for a celebration.

And theres plenty to celebrate:

1. my return to the community after winter hibernation;
2. the triumphant return of the brilliant new series of Doctor Who;
3. v5.8 of DBPro;

etc. etc. etc.

As a little something to kick off the celebrations ... : [href]www.logicstudios.net/a_bit_of_fun.zip[/href]. My thanks to Mnem for hosting this 6meg file and to the creator of the main *.x object.

"Hello! I'm the Doctor! I believe you want to kill me?"

Cheers

Philip

Hello my furry freind!

I bear-ly noticed you were gone.
Hello... hello.... is this thing on?

I was just working with some vectors the other day and thought, I wonder how Mr. Phillip is doing?

Good to see you back. It kind of brings a tear to the eye. What a Kod(i)ak moment.
Hello..... hello.....

I'm denying everything.

Except that.

Which is actually a paradox.

Muhahahaha!

Seriously, its good to be back. An especial thanks to IanM for keeping my picnic hampers warm for me while I've been away. I'll have them back now. I SAID: I'LL HAVE THEM BACK NOW!

(Wrestles picnic hampers and other props away)

And now .... me:

I couldn't let a bear beat be to a Dr Who demo, so I present a small demo here http://homepages.nildram.co.uk/~nickk/Planets.rar (4Mb)

Use the mouse keys to move around, left mouse to move forward, right mouse to move back, RETURN & SPACE do things too... You will face empty space (literally) to start with, so you need to move back and turn to see anything...

Oh, and watch out for the TARDIS...

Its not quite complete at the moment - space is not dark enough (haven't got around to positioning the light correctly yet). Oh and the music wont loop.

Oh, and for those interesting it wasn't compiled using DBPro.. I've used Memmy's TARDIS model too...

Nick, I've tried compiling your proggie but it doesn't work. Its asking for that damned DX library but the 25 version rather than the 24 version that we are having to use with v5.8. Please recompile it for v5.8 or send me the source and I'll compile it. Ta.
