Alot of people have been asking, "How do I make a picture for my EXE?", and there are lots of people saying "Eh, you need to get this program, it cost $100, it's not worth it....."
Well I wanted to solve that problem by saying this:

Make a shortcut for EXE....
Make an Image
(not too big, not too small, it doesn't matter exactly what size it is...)
Right-hand-click on your shortcut and click on propeties...
Now, there should be a button near the bottom that says
"Change Icon", click on it....and then go to browse....
(change the bit at the bottom and make it say "Any File" so you can select any type of file...)
Find your file and then click OK...

This should stop people asking how to do it, and hopefully stop people spending money on buying stuff to change Icons...

P.S. Use this teqnique, it's much better than having the boring old silver thing...

apart from that doesn't change the icon - all it does is change the icon for the shortcut not the actual exe

@Seppuku Geijutsu: not really - anyways it would be easier to write an ico converter using vb.net, c# or even c++ with devil

There are free icon converters out there... I believe that Microangelo and IcoChanger both work well, though Icochanger may only support 8 or 16 colors or somthing like that.
