I don't know where to post this so if one of the mod's can put it in the right forum for me if i'm in the wrong place.

This will help you attract customers with published products.

I know an illustrator who is looking for work, she has a BA Hons in illustration and has a few published work around london (mainly around the Abbey Theatre) she is a pretty good damn illustrator, so if you have a finish product and need to sell it and kind come up with a illustration, the shes your girl, but she will need to be paid a sum of money or royalties, email me if you are interested and I will give you her website (can't think of it from the top of my head)

What exactly would the royalties be opposed to payment? ('Artwork by BlahBlahBlah Copyright 2005(C)'?)

i will, asap, i'll ask her for it when i see her later.
Thanks for moving it Van B i knew I put it in the wrong thread.
She uses Photoshop CS and Quark Express to do her designs for other information.

I don't know what kind of royalties she would expect, i'll ask her that too, I'll also put her email address on here when I get it too so you can discuss it to her personally

Unfortunately her website isn't yet finished and is not online, but I will post it as soon as it is, but you can email her for samples if you want to either to

illustrator.jan@btinternet.com- (she is having problems with this account at the moment so not best to email it)

Carap_art@hotmail.com (if you email this one be sure to direct it to jan because its not actually her account)

I have some images here, but its not all of them

Hope you like them

Royalties are a percentage of sales. If the game is freeware then you'd have to pay her some cash I'd assume.

Tell her I'd like her to do some art for me in her free time, for free of course

(just joking)

But yes I think those samples are excellent. I'm normally into darker things and these are pretty exceptional!

isn't any one going to reply, or isn't anyone interested in having quality work for their games?

I don't think it's the quality of her work that's the problem, it's the having to pay for it part. It's not that we're cheap, it's just that most of us are getting by on allowances - perhaps she could have an introductory price for a few games, then she'll get more exposure and hopefully more work.

Well, given the fact that most of the people on this forum make games as a hobbie, most of us wouldn't pay for artwork, we would make it ourselves

i know, i was talking to the pros out there lol. Our project has got a really good 2D artist, so I know there are people who would pay for a concept/illustration artist to help them
